Shop Operations

We have developed an EPOS solution with a simple handling system for processing gift aid items on donated goods at the till and built on-screen prompts to assist operators with the sale. Plus you get all the features you’d expect from a professional retail and stock management solution including our unique Gift Aid action centre that produces daily updates to assist the Gift Aid manager highlighting missing information required to process Gift Aid claims more quickly.

Warehouse

The Art Technology system has been developed with rich functionality for the warehouse. Prior to items arriving from front of shop, or from collection from the van, temporary bar codes can be fixed to each item of stock and will be added to the system. A quick scan will bring up the item ready for inspection and pricing, with features that allow selection of PAT test Pass or Fail for electrical and white goods. There are fields for cost of repair and an audit trail of staff responsible throughout the process, obligatory Fire Label check list for furniture items and the option to move items to offline stock should they fail quality procedures. Once satisfied that the item is ready for sale a final bar code label is printed with item description, price and whether it is a Gift Aid stock item. Additional options allow the splitting of multiple items, e.g. brick-a-brack or a box of books that have a single parent bar code for all items and a hot shot price added at the till when sold.
